Mallory is getting braces on her teeth!!

Well, finally...Mallory is getting braces. She went yesterday to get her impressions done and her spaces in. Her teeth are really hurting!! She goes on April 13, 2006 to get her top braces on. She is getting clear braces on top and regular metal on bottom. I am thankful that I had braces and have a pretty smile so I want her to have the same opportunity. Also, thank you to Gary for taking Mallory to all of her orthodontist appts. Gary has been such a big help with us. He helps take Mallory to her appointments during the day. It saves me from taking off of work.

Mallory is trying out for the Central High School Lightning Dancers

Next week is tryouts for the Central High School Drill team in Keller. Mallory will go to tryouts every day after school and then take a drill team prep class at a local dance studio to help her perfect the routines. The actual tryout day is April 7th - which is Mallory's birthday. She says she is nervous because if she does not make it ----it will be the worst birthday. Well, I always say think positive. She has had so many years of dance that I think she will make it. Keep her in your prayers.

Weekend in Vegas

Gary and I went to Vegas to see his son, Chad who works for the Great Magician - David Copperfield. We also went because it was Gary's birthday. We stayed at the MGM Hotel and got to see some other really nice hotels. We went to see the David Copperfield show and boy, were we amazed! Chad is a good guy and we are very proud of him. We got to see one of my brother's friends, Sue. She went to dinner and to the show with us. We did some gambling and won a little money - enough to pay for a dinner or two. Here are a few pictures.
