Happy New Year to all of our friends!
Well, it is finally 2007!!! YEAH! This means it was my five year anniversary from being diagnosed with breast cancer on January 2, 2007. I go see the doctor tomorrow for my checkup.
Mallory is back into the swing of things with school. This semester she has health, IPC (Science), Algebra 1, and drill team. All of her teachers are really nice. Drill team is getting ready for competition in late March.
Gary is doing well. He finished and graduated from the Police Academy in mid December. He is waiting for all of his paperwork to come back from the state to be able to use his certification. He got the certification for his arson work.
We all had a nice holiday. It was nice to get it over with....too much eating etc.
Here is a couple of pictures from the holidays. We went to Houston to see some friends for New Years.
Stay in touch.

What has been going on....
Well, we have been really busy with school, football, drill team etc. Mallory and Chantz are at the end of their 9 weeks in school and have done very well. Mallory got started off really rough in a Pre-AP Algebra class that she should not have been placed in. She got moved after 4 weeks and we worked very hard to pull up her grade. She ended up with an A, B and 2 C's. I was proud of her. It has been hard to get into a routine with starting high school and on the drill team.
Chantz has been playing tackle football. This is his first year. He has been doing really well with his school work and is above average in his reading level. His eye sight is getting worse so he may need glasses.
Gary is still going to the police academy, working, officiating high school football, and has his pool business. Boy, he stays really busy.
I am still busy with being on the board of the drill team parents, Keller Economic Development, several breast cancer groups, working, being a mom and girlfriend.
I hope everyone is doing well.

Hello everyone. I know that it has been a while since I have posted anything in a while. We have had a busy summer. For the month of July, we had Chantz, Gary's son. Mallory babysat and made some extra money. Hunter, my nephew came to visit us for two weeks. He and Chantz had a great time. I took Hunter to Austin to visit some friends and went to a Round Rock Express minor league baseball game. On anther day, Gary and I took Chantz and Hunter to the Fort Worth Cats baseball game.

Gulf Shores, Alabama Beach Vacation
Hello Everyone. Mallory and I met my parents, Hunter, Claudine and Tyler down at the Alabama Coast. The water was great - you could see the bottom! The weather was great - high of 88 with the wind blowing every day. We did alot of hanging at the beach and I even got Daddy to get into the water. He does not swim but loves to hang on the beach. We took a dolphin cruise and saw some dolphins - a mom, dad and baby dolphin. Mallory and Tyler went parasailing and had a good time. Hunter met a little friend on the beach, Jessie, so he got to play with him alot.
Here are some pictures from the trip.
Have a great summer!!

New Motorcycle and Road Trip
Well, Gary bought a motorcycle. It is a Honda Shadow Sabre. He and I went with another firefighter and his wife on a motorcycle ride to Fredericksburg, Texas. We left on Saturday morning and came back on Sunday afternoon. Our trip was over 600 miles...boy, was my butt tired!!! Gary stops every 80 to 100 miles for gas and to stretch so that made it nice. He already had helmets from his last bike and he gave me a pair of leather chaps which made the ride nice. I have to go buy me some new riding boots!!! RIDE FREE!

Mallory made the Central High School Lightning Dancers
Mallory made the drill team!!! She worked really hard and was really sore all week. The tryouts were on her birthday - April 7th so that was a great gift. There were about 50 girls that tried out but only 15 made the team. I hope this will help her hang with the right crowd and stay out of trouble.
